Dear Guest and Friend

According to Portuguese Health Authority and WHO we must add extra prevention, control and surveillance procedures in order to prevent the spreading of COVID-19. Although we have very strict rules regarding cleaning, we have reinforced our hygiene and disinfection protocols for all rooms as well as for all common areas of Casa do Barão, following the recommendations of the World Health Organization for hotels. We also apply Clean & Safe guidelines of the General Directorate of Health and Tourism of Portugal.

Our prevention, control and surveillance procedures are available for you to see them if you wish near the coffee table in the living area or you can request them by email.

We remind you that Covid-19 is transmitted only by direct contact or secretions from an infected person and that the virus does not survive more than a few hours outside the human body. If you have any symptoms, please let us know immediately by phone (+351 967 944 143) and stay in your room for us to act according to the procedures.

Casa do Barão team is subject to daily symptom monitoring; we guarantee good personal Covid hygiene practices as well as the usage of necessary protective equipment to clean your room and the entire hotel.

Social areas are disinfected 3 times per day; swimming pool is cleaned and desinfected using special protocols. Alcohol gel is available for your personal use in several places inside the Casa. We also have masks and other items for sale in case you need them.

Our beds are hypoallergenic and our linens are washed at high temperatures by a certified laundry; The windows remain open for air circulation; We leave it up to you to turn the air conditioning on or off; We disinfect all surfaces of bedroom & toilet using specific produts defined in the regulations; The TV remote, as well as the room key, have been specially disinfected for your use. If you prefer not having the usual daily cleaning and sanitizing, please leave the “Do Not Disturb” sign outside your room door.

We consider it preferable to take additional measures such as the division of breakfast tables (not having two tables together) and we will serve breakfast “a la carte” and not in self service. For this reason, we ask you in the check in to choose your preferences so that we can serve breakfast at the table.

We will always be available for any clarifications. Thank you for understanding and we hope you have a great stay at Lisboa!
